Water is one of the most vital nutrients we need in order to function properly without it, we would die. So if we need water to maintain a good health we need to drink at least 8-10 ounces of water during the morning and night.

In addition to staying alive most people still refuse to drink water more often with excuses like:

I don’t have enough time or water is so boring. There is no other quench thirstier like water. And water is better to drink more often than any other caffeinated drink.

If you want to avoid certain sickness and diseases such as kidney failure, then you will need to intake lots of water daily to alleviate future health diseases.

Keep In Log

This could be as a simple little piece of paper on your fridge or a page in your daily planner.Just make a little check mark or dash on a little piece of paper each time you have a drink of water. The log will help you keep track of how much water you have had in any given day. You will also be surprised how motivating it is to try to get those ounces checked off every day. Another idea would be to use little sticky notes instead.

Add Some Lemon Juice

If you tend to get bored with just drinking water after a few days, change things up by adding a teaspoon of lemon juice to your water. Adding lemon juice to your water will help with digestion especially if you have acid reflux and it is great for your kidneys and bladder, adding lemon to your water  is valuable for people who have urinary tract infection

Making It A Morning Ritual

Did you know that most of us wake up dehydrated due to the body regenerating itself while we sleep. So the first thing you should do before you do anything else it drink about 10-16 ounce of water. I personally made it a regular morning habit and it inspires the momentum to continue drinking more for the rest of the day.

Drink Some Water When You Feel Hungry

Unfortunately, many of us have gotten so out of tune with our bodies that when we feel hungry we are actually thirsty.  If you feel hungry try drinking a glass of water first you may just be thirsty and you noticed that the crave for food as totally disappeared.

 Carry A Water Bottle

It is much easier to drink water when you have it readily available carry a bottle of water around with you in the car, at work, while your are running earns, in the yard or even while you are working around the house. You will be sipping away the water without even noticing it.

Drink More Water If You are Working Out

Make sure you drink a few glasses of water if you workout or if you spend a good amount of time outside when it is hot. If you are doing any form of cardio you well need to adhere to the following: Add 8 extra ounces of water to your daily quantity for every 30 minutes of cardio or 16 ounces per every hour. Your body uses and needs more water when you sweats a lot so don’t forget to fill back up during and after your exercise.

Keeping It In The Clear

When your urine is clear you are properly hydrated, when your urine is dark yellow you are definitely dehydrated especially if your urine has an unpleasant odor. If your urine is not clear and odorless then you need to hydrate yourself as soon as possible.

Take Baby Steps

Don’t expect to go from “0” ounces of water to your daily required intake overnight start with 8-10 ounces in the morning then 8-10 ounces at night and slowly build your way up from there the next thing you know you will be drinking your daily intake of water easily and effortlessly.

Slowly Replace Your Drinks

If you are a heavy soda, coffee, or tea drinker simply replace one of those caffeinated drinks with 10 ounces of water, start out with replacing a caffeinated drink every other day with a bottle of water until you have reached your daily intake of water.

Always Have A Full glass of Water Near You

Always keep a glass or bottle of water near you at work, while at home on a computer or talking and the phone it will give you something to mindless sip on during breaks or brainstorming.

So as we all known water is life and it is a vital source for your survival, and to prevent diseases such as kidney failure and cancer.
